Rise UP Jamaica is a grassroots, community-driven non-profit formed in direct response to the catastrophic Category 5 Hurricane Melissa, which left thousands across Jamaica’s southwest coast without homes, essentials, or a clear path forward. Entire communities in Black River, St. Elizabeth, and surrounding rural areas have been devastated. Families have lost everything homes, power, safe drinking water, and even the stability they once knew.
